Training Every Recruit to XFOR Kenya Standardss

Following extensive background and suitability checks, every new recruit to XFOR attends our Security Officer Academy for their initial course of training. Here, every new officer is taught by former African or British military experts, ensuring an unrivalled standard of guard with an extensive skill-set suited to all types of deployment.

At Security Officer Academy, our officers are trained and tested across a number of distinct modules, some of which are specific to security and some of which are designed for public-facing positions.

Some of the fundamental skills that we teach include:

  • Communications
  • Surveillance
  • Emergency Response
  • First Aid
  • Fire Fighting
  • Self Defence
  • Methods For Restraining Suspects
  • Working With Executives, Employees and the Public

    • Once initial training is complete, new recruits are certified ready to work – but their training does not stop there.

    Instead, XFOR is committed to the ongoing learning of our employees, including refresher courses and regular evaluations. We promote a culture of learning within the organisation, updating skills to meet the ever-changing climate of security.
